What's In The Bounty Box?
Each box contains a weekly average of 10 different items / 11 pounds of produce. Vegetables and fruits from our owner farmers make up our weekly deliveries. Your membership provides additional access to locally produced meats and handcrafted goods from other participating North Iowa farmers and artisans.
SPRING
(May - June)
Early spring vegetables such as greens, asparagus, radishes, green onions, broccoli, strawberries, and more.
SUMMER
(July - August)
Beans, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, beets, sweet corn, melons, and more.
FALL
(Sept - October)
Potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash, apples, storage onions, garlic, and more.
North Iowa Fresh Bounty Box Program
- January through May: Purchase Your Subscription!
- Our farmers and our management team are planning for the upcoming season.
- Late May through Early October: Weekly deliveries!
- You, our customer, receive boxes of freshly harvested produce on this schedule throughout the growing season.
- Tuesdays – our farmers deliver their product to Furleigh Farm, near Clear Lake. Our Aggregation team organizes all the products from the farmers into boxes.
- Wednesdays: our driver delivers to our pick up sites. {Note: Charles City pick-up is on Tuesdays.}
- December & November: Fall and Winter Add-On Boxes are available to help you stretch your local meals into the winter months.
